Tsuchiya Koitsu (1870 - 1949) sight image measures  10 1/4" x 15 3/8" Mat measuring 14 3/4" x 21". I removed the mat for these photos and discovered that this piece is laid down on the board. It is not hinged or loose.RespectfullyJames
